The first lot of player ratings for the new edition of the highly popular NBA 2K18 have begun to flow into the public eye. And some players aren’t happy with what they are seeing..
The game’s cover player, Kyrie Irving was dealt a 90 rating by the game’s creators, prompting the Cleveland Cavaliers star to say that he should be at least a 95. “Adding in some factors like being the cover athlete, I’d have to say I should be a 95” said Irving before finding out his rating.
“I love it. It’s motivating me now. Mark my words by the end of the season I’m going to be at least a 93” following the news of his 90 rating.
76ers rookie sensation Joel Embiid also thought he deserved better than his 86 rating, saying this:
“What? That’s bullcrap, I’m not going to curse. I just got fined, so I’m not going to curse, but 86? I’m definitely going to bump it up to 95 during the season.”
The other ratings that have been released are as follows:
Paul George – 91
Kyrie Irving – 90
Isaiah Thomas – 89
Damian Lillard – 89
Devin Booker – 86
Joel Embiid – 86
The game is scheduled for release on the 19th of September this year. Stay tuned for updates on player ratings + more.
