Guard Brandon Jennings was waived by the New York Knicks earlier this week and has now decided where he will play the remainder of the season.
It us reported that Jennings has made a verbal agreement with the Washington Wizards to join them, provided he clears waivers.
Jennings will be a welcome addition for the Wizards as they attempt to make a run in the playoffs this post season. A glaring weakness has been their bench and it’s ability to score, something that Jennings will be able to help with alongside newly acquired Bojan Bogdanovic.
Jennings has averaged 8.6 points & 4.9 assists in 58 games this season, predominantly off the bench.
