The NBA trade deadline is right on our doorstep and an Eastern Conference contender has made a deal to help them this post season.
The Washington Wizards will send Andrew Nicholson, Marcus Thornton & it’s 2017 first round selection to the Brooklyn Nets in exchange for Chris McCullough & Bojan Bogdanovic.
The move gives the Wizards some bona fide scoring in the second unit with Bogdanovic and a project player in McCullough. What they gave up for it isn’t that much once you dig a little deeper. Thornton and Nicholson are two veterans who have fallen out of the rotation whilst the first round pick this year will likely be in the 20s given their latest run of form.
