THE NBA trade deadline is nearing and teams are already starting to make some big moves to bolster their stocks for not only the post season but for the future as well.
The first of these trades came this morning when the Milwaukee Bucks dealt big man Miles Plumlee to the Charlotte Hornets in exchange for centers Roy Hibbert and Spencer Hawes.
Plumlee has struggled to find regular minutes under coach Jason Kidd and the Hornets have been keen on locking down his services for quite some time. On the flip side the Bucks acquire two more centers to give them four on their roster, this could mean that PF/C Greg Monroe could also be on his way out before the trade deadline.
This will be Roy Hibbert’s third team since leaving the Indiana Pacers where he developed a formidable front line with David West. The defensive big man has struggled with injuries and will look to make another fresh start in Milwaukee whilst Spencer Hawes will give more three point presence for the Bucks with his ability to stretch the floor at the five.
