PBA Game 7 Preview: Alaska Aces vs. San Miguel Beermen

Its going to be the battle of the strongest , PBA world war, the game 7 of your San Miguel Beermen against the stunning Alaska Aces team. Who will reign supreme and be the champions for this seasons All -Filipino conference?

The solid Aces team started the finals with a 3-0 run over the Beermens without their main man Fajardo , a very young 2- time MVP who leads the league in scoring and rebounding this conference. Before entering the finals Fajardo had a knee injury in the Beermen’s final game of the semi’s against Rain or Shine . After 3 games of absence Fajardo came back and the Beermens made an historic come back, winning 3 consecutive games to force the series into a game 7. Fajardo together with the hitters Lassiter , Cabagnot , Ross ‘the veteran big man’ De Ocampo and Espinas all playing their role the Beermen’s were able to combat the Aces in the past few games.

Alaska really needs to play fast and look for high percentage shots whilst lessening their turnovers. Defensively they will need to put the clamps on Fajardo who seems to be in a good rhythm with his shooting. While on the other side the Beermen’s need to really look for their deadly snipers on the outside and rebound the ball well to not allow the Aces any second chance buckets. They also need to not let the shaded lane open and as for their offense they need to give Fajardo the ball. By giving the ball to their main man they should be able to feed off his hot hand and convert it into points, whether it be through Fajardo putting the ball in the hoop or dishing to teammates if the Ace’s defense collapses, therefore allowing for more open shooters.

Prediction: Fajardo to lead the Beermen home again. San Miguel by 5pts
